Test (1)

The large and massive gate stood before them in all it's full glory.

Shian and Ryan gawked at it speechless, the large circle gate was one of the highest thing they had ever seen in their entire lives.

"So much energy." Ryan mumbled.

Shian who was a lover of weapons, studied the intricate design of each weapon.

'The seven weapons represented the seven sins. A sword, a spear, a...'

"I wonder what will happen if that thing falls."

Shian's thoughts were interrupted by Grandpa Enzo's words.

A vein was seen popping up on Shian's head as his eyes twitched. 'Bastard!! What do you think will happen if that hulking behemoth falls, it'll cause a large earthquake and the earth will probably shift from its orbit. I just wonder how you think sometimes YOU ANNOYING OLD MAN!!!.' Shian cursed in his mind but didn't dare say his thoughts out loud for fear of what Grandpa Enzo might do to him.

Shian calmed himself down and jumped down the vehicle, Ryan followed suit and the trio began to walk to the gate ahead of them.

While walking, they saw several other vehicles of the same caliber as the AAPV as they walked steadily to the large gate ahead of them. There where twenty one queues with the line so long, Shian wondered how long it'll take them to reach the entrance, fortunately for him, he was with someone with enough fame and power to cut through the line and walk right into the academy without going through all the stress the others where going through.

"Haha, I'm soo lucky!" Shian said to himself.

As the two boys stepped through the gate, they halted in their tracks.

There were several huge trees by the side of the walk way, tall hard barked trees with bright green leaves shimmering in the bright morning sun, the smell of the moist soil wafted into their nose. They moved ahead and made their way towards the large buildings they could see in the distance, the two boys got there faster than they imagined would take, they were just that happy to awaken their ability.

As they made their way to the hall, the amount of trees slowly reduced and more buildings came into view, at every cluster of buildings they realized that they where always either red, yellow or dark blue in color, in fact there wasn't any building with another color so far.

Curiosity got the better of Shian and he asked.

"Grandpa Enzo, do you have any idea why the buildings are all painted in only this three colors?"

"Oh I see you've noticed." Grandpa Enzo replied. His words seemed to confuse Shian a little bit, but his next words just made him frown. "I can't tell you the reason or it'll ruin all the fun, all I can say is that you should try your best during the test."

"What test?, We didn't know about any test being held." Ryan chipped in.

Grandpa Enzo just smiled and kept walking.

Although they were a bit worried about the test that Grandpa Enzo spoke of, their happiness overshadowed their worry. They kept on walking ahead while gawking at almost everything their eyes could see. That was just how beautiful the environment was.

Shian who was also doing a good job of looking around suddenly froze in his tracks as creepy smile found its way up to his face.

'Well look who it is! The white haired monkey who tried to kill me'

Meanwhile the 'white haired monkey' looked in his direction when he sensed an intense gaze lingering on him. His eyes nearly popped out of his eyes when he caught Shian's gaze and a single word flashed through his mind.

'How?!!'

Shian's smile widened when he saw the look on Seth's face —a look of disbelief.

'So you actually are the one who tried to kill me.' Shian confirmed his thoughts.

Unknown to Seth, he had just given away the fact that he was the master mind who orchestrated Shian's 'death'. Shian turned around and pretended nothing happened, he continued looking around with Ryan while making their way towards the large hall in the distance.

Arriving at the hall, they walked into the sound of several people speaking at the same time, it was noisy, but that wasn't what caught their attention, to their sides there where several rows of seats that went round the whole hall as in a football stadium, the door in which they walked in was the only way to get into the hall, and at the centre, there was a raised platform with a blue orb on a stone shimmering brightly and a man in a robe with a hood which covered his face.

It seemed like Grandpa Enzo knew what was going to happen and left the boys to take a seat among the spectators.

The boys walked ahead and stood with the other students they saw. While waiting, shian felt an intense gaze on him, thinking it was Seth again, he turned and looked just to find a black haired boy with dark eyes and a lithe body staring at him with a creepy smile on his face, the boy turned away but shian kept looking at him before eventually looking away. Shian shook off the weird feeling he was having and kept waiting.

After about thirty minutes of waiting, the door in which they came in began to close slowly, the sound was louder than everyone expected the little door to make, it immediately quietened down everyone's murmur and made them pay attention to what was going to happen next.

The students where tensed, even the scions of the Five Pillars of Earth where not an exception.

The scions, Niko Emona of the Emona family known for awakening beast transformation abilities, Lisa Glace of the Glace family known for their deadly ice abilities, Cyril Viper of the Viper family known for their potent poisons, Vanessa Emprie with their Fire ability and the scion of the most powerful family, Seth Solar, known for their control over solar energy.

The Five scions stood out amongst all the other students, they wore clothing that brought out their natural handsomeness and beauty but did not slow them down or restrict them in any way during battle.

Shian paid close attention to his surroundings in case of any sneak attack as he didn't know what to expect.

Just then, a loud booming voice resounded throughout the hall slightly startling the students.

"Welcome, our dear students of the Seven Deadly Sins Academy. I'm sure most of you are confused about what is about to happen, but we need to gauge your strengths and weaknesses to train you all into perfect soldiers during your stay at the academy, to pass this test, all you have to do is to get to Scye, the man in robes at the centre of the hall."

Just as immediately the voice sounded, it stopped. No one was willing to be the first to take the risk until someone broke the silence.

"If that's all then this should be a walk in the park. Come on George, let's get this done and awaken our ability."

A student spoke out loud with confidence and began to walk towards the robed man in the distance.

Everyone watched on as the two youths walked with pride oozing out of their very being.

Some students where about to follow when suddenly, a ball of energy hit them both and they disappeared right before everyone's eyes.
