Chapter 615
Walking into the room, Serenity was surprised to find the room not empty. She thought everything would be gone, but the miscellaneous items were the only things removed. The room looked more like the room before she had gone to prison.

If there was any of her mother's belongings... Serenity had kept her mother's belongings in a box under her bed.

Serenity went to the bed and tried to drag the box out from under the bed.

"Let me." Jackson crouched down and helped Serenity drag the box out. The dust kicked up in the room and dirtied his clothes.

"Sorry about that," Serenity said. She knew Jackson had always been very particular about cleanliness. He would always keep himself clean, except when he lived in the rented place with her.

"What's there to be sorry about? Isn't it a man's duty to help his woman?" Jackson replied.

'His woman...' Serenity's cheeks flushed at the way Jackson declared her to be his, but soon after, the box in front of her took all her attention.
