Ch 4 - The Danger (Edited)

The monster walked on its four legs, and the front claws had the mobility of human hands to ravage everything in their path.

"That's goblin? Why the hell? I had never imagined it in that way. That was totally like a fantasy book with drawings." I gulped my saliva upon contact with the big monster. I was a little surprised by the sheer size and strength of the monster.

"My lord! Danger!" Bella said as she pulled me towards her back with her black robe and I hugged her body from behind.

"Fuck! This is my first territory on Mars!" I cursed loudly at my discontent.

"The west wall was breached, my Lord! Please leave!!!" Mino shouted as loudly as he could, asking me to leave to save my life.

Then I saw the horde of monsters slaughter every soldier on the path they walked on.

"Oh no, I am still a failure, yeah." I sighed as I gave up on myself and let the ravaging happen before my very own eyes.

"Don't think like that, my lord! I know you!" She escaped through the chaos with me on her back.

"If I want to live here, I must get used to this. I will become stronger!" I said.

"As you wish, my lord!"

After some time, we reached a safe place.

I watched from afar as my territory was destroyed completely by the monster.

Upon realizing my territory had been destroyed by the horde of monsters, I sat down in disbelief at what was happening.

"My lord! Our territory!" She pointed her finger toward Labis territory from afar.

"Damn, everything is destroyed! I am not worthy of being their ruler, damn, damn, damn!" I exclaimed.

Then she hugged me to lessen the sadness deep inside my heart.

"You don't know anything, my lord!" She said this as I sat down on the ground and looked into the beautiful blue sky.

"Why did I have to experience this? Experience becoming a failure again!" I thought.

"Do goblins exist on Earth?" She asked, and I was shocked upon hearing that question because the goblins on Earth were different in comparison.

"Yeah. They existed in small bodies, like a green reptile. Their origin was unknown, as they were suddenly attacked. But is there anyone who survives the monster horde? Mino! Where are my first general and soldiers?" I asked with the desire to see them survive because I wanted a miracle to happen.

*DING! *

System: [All of your subjects are dead!]

"Damn...!!!" I cursed when I heard the notification inside my head. The people of my territory who defended the territory were no more.

"My lord!" She frowned, and she carried my face by the hand and looked into my eyes.

"What dazzling red eyes, huh? Mino and the others are... They were all..." I looked at the ground below me as my failure consumed me.

"My lord! Let's find another territory to stay in temporarily." She asked.

"Where will we go? I want to be stronger!" I said.

"To the center of Mars. Tengah territory!" She exclaimed with new information.

"For what?" I asked.

"To upgrade your system, my lord, you can only hear your system, but there is no display in front of you, right? You cannot use the system properly!" She replied with a concerned voice.

If I go to Tengah territory, I can upgrade my system and be strong like you. Is that correct?" I curiously asked.

"Yes, my lord!" She replied with confidence.

After a few hours had passed, we reached someplace we didn't know about.

There are signboards, to the right is 'Paya Merah," and to the left is 'Tenang'.

"Well, I suggest we go to the left!" I stated my decision upon looking at the signboard without any thought beforehand.

"Okay, my lord." She nodded, accepting my decision to go in the left direction.

After a few minutes of walking, I saw the city in the distance.

The city is surrounded by a fortress, and inside the fortress, I noticed there was a high-rise building about 50 meters tall.

This fortress emitted an aura of solid rock and was very strong compared to Labis, my destroyed new home.

"The building is beautiful and looks very sturdy... Finally, we are almost there!" I said.

"I agree, my Lord!" she replied.

The sound of a very loud gunshot shook my ears.

"Do the people around Mars use guns too?" I thought for a second, as this is a very dangerous moment that will cost me my life and Bella's life.

As the second shot was fired, Bella once again saved me with her exhausted body.

She used her black robe to carry me behind her back to escape the dangerous situation.

"You are exhausted. We were walking for quite a while today! Put me down!

"NO!!" She raised her voice for the first time.

"Okay, let's find a river!" I suggested.

"Yes, my Lord!" She nodded as she focused on the direction ahead to find a river far away from Tenang territory.

We finally escaped the danger. She had used up all her remaining energy.

After reaching the bank of the river, Bella suddenly fainted.

"BELLA!! BELLA!!" I shouted with concern.

Then I saw her head move a little bit to the side.

"What a relief! This time I will keep you safe, Bella!" Then I kissed her forehead, and I carried her body and laid it down next to the big tree.

"Water! Bella needs water and rest!" I thought.

Then I scooped up water with my mouth by the river nearby, and I made haste to her position.

Then I pulled her body to the seating position, and then I poured the water into her mouth slowly and carefully with my mouth.

"My Bella, let me warm you this time!"

Then, without hesitation, I proceeded to hug her tightly to warm her body during the cold night.

After many hours had passed, I heard Bella's voice calling me into a deep sleep.

"My lord...! My lord! We need to go!" she said as she brushed my hair and looked into my eyes with her cheerful face.

"Yeah, my Bella," she said, then materialized something from the system. As she briefed me the other day, the system can use unlimited subspace.

After that, I took a sitting position.

"Here, my lord, drink this to fill your belly for now!" She said.

"Milk tea from the system? When will I be able to use the system like you?" I sighed with regret at not being able to use the system.
