“Unfortunately for you, I am a man who believes in the proverb; an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. When you wanted me to cut my tongue off as a bet, you should have thought about the consequences! Also, I doubt that you will let me off easily if I was the one who lost the bet!”

Upon hearing Andrew Mason’s biteless threat, Liam gave a sinister laugh and argued back.

Then, he wrapped his arm around Ashley’s waist and continued to speak, unaware that Ashley’s face had turned bright red from the sudden intimacy from him.

"Now, it's time for you to face the consequences. You don’t seriously think you could leave the Flander’s family place without fulfilling your promise after offending the fiance of Ashley Flander, did you? Even if I let you off, my wife-to-be here will probably not take your action too kindly."

“You bastard! You better watch your back at night!” Andrew gripped his fists and shouted at the top of his lungs.
