“Hey, young man, are you done with your selection? You have been going at it for almost an hour now. Your indecisiveness is like my grandmother! I have a bunch of customers still waiting for their turn. Can you please hurry up?”

In an isolated corner of the convention hall, Liam was alone, busy examining the stones available for sale in one of the stores, oblivious to the long queue that was formed behind him.

With only three chances to verify if there was jade inside a stone, he had to rely on an alternative method to determine whether jade was present in them.

“Let’s see… The texture on the surface of this stone is a bit sandy and there are small traces of jade veins appearing across the surface… The internet article that I read, mentioned that these veins are natural patterns on the rock that indicate the presence of jadeite inside.” Liam muttered under his breath as he stared intensely at the stone in his palm with complete focus.

“Judging from the spiral pattern, it is highly
