“100 times the income?! This is it! If I manage to complete the mission successfully, I will make a big leap towards my goal of revenge!” Liam thought to himself.

But after some pondering by himself, he snapped out of his delusion.

“I know nothing about Antiques nor its business. It has a high level of barrier to entry and how do I even delve into the world of Antiques without any contacts?”

“Hey, Liam! Why are you furrowing your eyebrows? Isn’t this a happy occasion? We have really done the impossible!” Penelope exclaimed, her bright eyes shining with glee as she waved her arms around to show her excitement.

“Indeed we have.” Liam smiled. “Now that Olive Park is getting on the right track, there will be no more need for me. I will give 19% of the shares to Penelope and appoint her as the general manager to oversee business operations.”

“What? Why would you do that?” Penelope’s father, Giorgio asked Liam. Even Penelope was confused about Liam’s decision.

“Let’s just say that a long time ago, your wife helped a certain boy who ran away from home. In the back alleyway of Olive Park, the boy was offered a delicious two-course Italian meal free-of-charge. He had never forgotten the taste of that food ever since.” Liam replied slowly and peacefully before changing his tone.

“Besides, the 19% shares will come with its own set of challenges. I intend to develop Olive Park into a franchise that will bloom across the world. So, Penelope, you have a lot on your plate! Can you do it?” Liam asked as he placed his hands on Penelope’s shoulders.

“Yes. I won’t fail you!” Penelope replied with zealousness before turning away to avoid Liam’s passionate gaze. Any longer and she would not be able to contain herself.

The next day, after Liam was finally free from his business, he agreed to meet up with Grace who was bombarding him with non-stop calls all-day long. 

Due to him being extremely busy with Olive Park restaurant since he had received the system, the only mode of transport he had was still his rusty old bicycle which he used to deliver food with.

In no time, Liam arrived at Henson’s Family manor which was situated in the most secular part of Downtown.

The superb location coupled with the serene environment in the prime area showcased how wealthy the Henson family was. Just the manor alone had at least 30 maids and butlers employed under them.

Nevertheless, despite facing Henson family overpowering wealth, Liam was unaffected. 

He believed that he could reach their height as well, given there was enough time.

Thus, he had already decided to end things with the Henson family.

Once he had stepped inside the Henson family manor, he was immediately reminded of the toxic environment. 

“Hey, Liam the cuck, why didn’t you come home for the past week? Don’t you know that there is a mountain of chores for you to do? Let me remind you, it is your responsibility to see that this house is sparkly clean!”

The first to berate and humiliate Liam was his brother-in-law, Seth. Being the only son and the heir of the Henson family, his favorite pastime was to see Liam suffer.

Even when he knew that his sister had cheated on Liam, he still found it funny to mock Liam for being a cuck.

"Liam Walker! How dare you ignore my calls? Hurry up and sign the divorce papers! My daughter’s happiness had been ruined because of how useless you are! The only thing you could do is to sign the divorce papers so that my wonderful daughter can marry Andrew Mason!” A disgruntled voice shirked.

This time, the insult was from a middle-aged woman sitting in the middle of the dining room.

Without even looking at the direction where the voice had originated from, Liam had already known that the voice belonged to his mother-in-law.

Initially, when Liam became a lived-in son-in-law of the Henson family, the Henson family weren’t this disrespectful to him.

Rather, they had treated him very kindly and with respect.

However, a month after he became their son-in-law, their attitude towards him changed drastically.

Insults after insults were thrown at him while they forced tons of household chores on him as if he was a mere servant working for the family.

Even though they had an abundant amount of maids on standby that could handle the household chores in the family, they would rather see Liam suffer and mock him for being useless and and treat him as an eyesore.

Due to his love for Grace, Liam did everything they asked without any complaint.

It was all worth it. A real man can withstand anything thrown his way for the sake of his woman.

Regardless of how much humiliation and degration he suffered from them, he assured himself that it was all worth it in the end because of Grace’s love. 

Bah!

Now that he had understood everything, he would no longer tolerate their actions any longer!

He was simply being used as a punching bag for them because the Walker family did not recognise him as a legitimate heir and their plan to curry favor with the Walker family had failed!
