The insect swiftly withdrew its extended limb from Kyle's body, causing a geyser of blood to erupt from his wound. Strange white roots of corrosion began sprouting out of the injury, gradually covering his entire body. Kyle appeared on the verge of losing consciousness as his eyes rolled upwards, blood trickling down from his eyes and mouth.
