"What is it?" Derek asked with a reluctant voice. He knew his day was about to be worse than it was already but he wasn't ready for it.

"Every day at noon, she leaves the office to go to God knows where. And she spends about roughly two hours out. Each time I ask her, she says she's heading out for an important briefing," Nadia explains.

"Important briefing? How long has this been going on?"

"For about a year now, I guess. It's been way long now."

He had never heard Catherine mention anything about an important briefing in the afternoon. And knowing it has been going on for a year now made it more suspicious.

Due to the limited workload in his job, he spends some time at home whenever he wants to and he has never seen Catherine home in the noons during those times.

This meant something. And that means it was something else he had to add to his list of suspicious activities from his wife.
