It was the supervisor's birthday and a party was being held to honor him.

As much as Derek didn't like the whole party thing, he had no choice but to be at this one. His role as head of the Research and Development team gave him no choice.

The supervisor rented a mini hall for this and ninety percent of those present were Derek's colleagues and workers of the Cora Limited.

As they blasted continuous music, Derek simply stood at a corner with a cup of liquor in his hand.

He had hardly even touched the liquor because all that was on his mind was nothing but the report he received from Edna about what she saw his wife and her manager do the day before.

It was no lie that he had to work late into the night so he could finish up some things at the company. However, he found out before then that his wife had other plans according to Edna.
