Perseus found a man staring down at him, and it turned out to be a waiter wanting to get their orders.

“One cup of cappuccino, please,” Perseus muttered.

Lexi studied him. “No way you are having that; I am going to order real food.”

He nodded, although that wasn't what he wanted. Lexi made her order, and as soon as the waiter left, her gaze returned to him.

“You don't eat much, do you?” She inquired. “You didn't touch your food at the other restaurant.”

“That's because I ate a lot before meeting you.”

“Oh, I didn't realize.”

They said nothing to each other and just waited for the food to arrive. The waiter had just placed the food on the table and wiped away a great meal when the corner of Perseus's eyes caught someone familiar.

His brows twitched. “Lexi, you said nothing about her being out.”

Lexi, who was already digging into her food, stared at him in confusion. “Who?”

“Celia. When did she get out?”

Lexi raised a brow at him. “How did you know that she was arrested?”
