Soon, Lexi was there, and Perseus was leaving the car with Sherry still in his arms and her arm wrapped around his neck.

Lexi cleared her throat as soon as she saw them.

“Lexi!” Sherry glanced at Lexi with a pout on her lips. “Have you caught the criminals?”

“Yes.” Lexi's gaze was avoiding Perseus, and he knew it. “Can you come to the station to give the details of what happened?”

Sherry stared up at Perseus as if waiting for permission.

“Sure,” Perseus replied bluntly.

Sherry got down and hurried over to Lexi. She peered at Lexi. “Did you get the last guy?”

“Why don't we head to the station first? We will talk about it there.”

“We have evidence for all that happened,” Perseus said as he placed the flash drive containing everything he had collected. “The Sullivans are at it again. Why can I just have peace?”

Lexi took the drive and asked the officer next to her to hand her a laptop, which he did. The officer was dismissed, and it was left with the three of them in the room
