Perseus stared at Perseus through the rearview mirror. He could see the sadness in Zeppelin's eyes. “They would.” He reassured Zeppelin. “Really?” Zeppelin's face brightened. “Trust me, they would be so glad to see you.” Lexi sat properly on the seat, but her gaze was focused on Perseus.“I thought you knew everything about me.” Perseus told Zeppelin. “How come you knew nothing about Uncle?” “Well. First of all, I thought you had no other family. Second, there was no official adoption process for you, and perhaps I thought they were friends.” Perseus grinned. “Let's get you to them first.” “Like right now?” Lexi inquired. Perseus nodded.“Why didn't you say we were heading there now? I haven't picked up any clothes. My dress is drained by coffee, and I need to change!” “Let's get a dress then.” Zeppelin only chucked.***Perseus rang the doorbell. Zeppelin stood next to him, but Lexi was standing behind him. She had already changed into something different.“I never thought
“I like your aunt,” Lexi said, glancing at Perseus. “She is nice and cool.”Perseus returned the stare, listening. They were walking down the road. He had given her a tour of the house and was giving her a tour of the neighborhood. “She accepted Zeppelin almost immediately. She also felt guilty for not taking him and raising him. It took Zeppelin by surprise.” “I would have done the same if it was me,” Perseus muttered. “He is family, and we have to accept him. Although my aunt isn't related to me by blood, she's a mother figure to me.’“She cares about you.” “I know.”“Why aren't you calling her mom like she wants you to?” Perseus looked away from Lexi. “I love her, but I can't call her Mom. Let's say I am afraid that she is going to meet the same fate as my mother.” Lexi didn't ask any more questions. They toured around the neighborhood for a bit. The tour around the neighborhood continued for an hour. Lexi wasn't familiar with the place. As they walk, Perseus points out vario
Zeppelin dropped the plate he was holding and dashed out of the kitchen. The speed he used startled Gabrielle so much that she began chasing after him. “I asked if your brother was home.” The leader repeated as he squatted to meet Eriane's gaze.Eriane shook her head. “Is he the one who has that car out there?” Eriane shook her head again. “Can't you speak?!” The bald man roared, grabbing a vase and smashing it to the floor.Eriane flinched. “He isn't home, and that isn't his car.” The bald man glanced back at his men; the one he looked at shook his head and gestured that Eriane was lying. “I saw him get out of the car with his friends.” One of the men said, “She is lying; that's his car.” Eriane began moving backward as the man's gaze shifted back to her. “You better not be lying to me; is your father home?” Just then, Zeppelin ran into the living room. He found Eriane on the floor, with the men glancing at her. He hurried over to them, and Eriane stood up on her feet and hid
The men lunged at the two of them, splitting into two. Three men fought Perseus, while three fought Zeppelin. A man in red shirts lunged at Perseus, aiming his fist against Perseus' head. Perseus dove under the punch and brushed past the man in a flash. He raised his legs and kicked the man in the back, sending him backward. Another man in a blue top threw a kick at Perseus. Perseus moved aside, dodging the kick by half an inch, grabbed the man's leg, and twirled the man around. The third man in the yellow top attacked Perseus from behind, but he swung the blue top man and let him collide with the yellow topman. Both men collided with that floor.Perseus dusted his shirt and smiled. On the other hand, Zeppelin got on his knees, dodging a kick that was sent his way. The rest of the two men who differed from the one who threw the kick watched him. He slid under his legs until he was on the other side, where he was in front of a man in black. Placing his hands on the floor, Zeppelin
All six of them sat across the living room; Perseus and Zeppelin sat on a couch, while the others were scattered on another couch. “Here is the thing.” Perseus began speaking since his aunt and uncle weren't ready to speak. “I managed to get them to protect you all, and that only matters.” Gabrielle and Relic exchanged glances before glancing back at Perseus. “I didn't know that you knew to fight like that,” Eriane muttered. “I have seen you hit those security men, but it was nothing like this.”Perseus ran his hand through his hair. “I knew how to fight for a long time.’’ He lied. “Hmm.” Eriane stared at him, squinting. “You're a terrible liar, and I can see through your lie.” Perseus grabbed Zeppelin's shoulder. “See, I didn't fight them alone. Zeppelin helped me, and I can't have more than three guys at once.” “That's bull–” Lexi was cut off by Perseus' palm on her lips.“She was about to say a curse word,” Perseus said. Lexi began humming and, at the same time, glaring at Pe

He was standing in front of his car while the ladies were shoving stuff that they had brought inside the boot. “Get those things inside, or we are going to be late.” Relic called out.Perseus glanced at his wristwatch. It was 7:55 a.m. Since he couldn't sleep, his eyes were swollen. “Did you have a nightmare last night?” Zeppelin appeared next to him. “Not in the slightest.” Perseus opened the car door and got in. Zeppelin got in with him, and the rest were left to see at the back.“I should have bought a minivan,” Perseus muttered. “That's not necessary.” Lexi chimed as she settled at the back with the others. “This one is enough for us.” Gabrielle nodded her head in agreement. “You don't have to waste so much money just because you won the lottery and bought some shares.” “Yes, aunt.” Lexi not
Zeppelin showed no emotion. “I heard the kids talking about him, and I asked about him. Why?” Perseus bit his lips. “Are you sure?” “Where else am I supposed to hear his name from if it isn't from the kids?” [Why do I feel like he is lying?] Iris asked as she peered at Perseus.Perseus glanced at Iris. “I had my suspicion that he could see you from the start, but you said that it wasn't possible.” Iris nodded. [It's impossible.][I was talking about him lying about hearing the man's name from the kid.][He had probably seen the man before today.]“Alright.” Perseus told Zeppelin. “I thought you had met him before.” “Or if I was involved in his crimes.” Zeppelin joked with a small laugh, but Perseus frowned. “Not funny then,” Zeppelin muttered. Lexi's gaze shifted from one person to another. “So, what makes you think that there was something wrong with this place, Zep?” “It's Zeppelin.” “Whatever. Go on. What made you think that?” Zeppelin glanced around as if someone were goi
“I hope you can tell me about the orphanage if you help me cook,” Perseus muttered.“My job here is cooking, not talking. Since you are willing to help, why don't you help me bring it here?” “How do I find it?” Jose asked. “If you can find my brother, He is going to hand it over to you.” Jose hesitated. “I don't think it is a great idea for me to leave.” “It wouldn't take long. Find him, get the pasta, and we’ll get started with cooking.”Jose nodded before heading for the door.
