Chapter 232_Lexi's Prove

It had been two hours since Perseus had fallen asleep. He could feel someone shaking him, asking him to wake up. His eyes opened, and the figure above him was blurry. The drugs were starting to wear off, too.

“Get up, Perseus. I have an important thing to tell you.” She announced.

It didn’t take a while for his eyes to adjust to the dim light. Now he could see who was there; it was Lexi, and she had a serious look on her face.

“What happened?” He asked.

“I have been trying to wake you up for the past hour, but you haven’t been responding.” She retorted.

He sat up, his gaze moving to the bed. Eris and Sherry were already asleep. He turned his gaze back to Lexi.

“What did you want to tell me?” He asked.

She got off the bed and held out her hand for him to take. “Follow me.”

“There is no need for you to offer your hand. I can get up.”

Perseus moved the blankets aside and got out of bed. He covered the girls with the blanket properly before falling into steps with Lexi.
