“Here you are. For a second, I thought you weren’t going to come.” Zeppelin said as soon as Perseus walked into the restaurant.

Wearing a cross bag, Perseus looked exhausted as he approached them, and they noticed it. He had booked a reservation, and now they had a private place to talk and eat.

Since it was night, the light in the room was bright. Their table was next to the large glass that overlooked the city.

He walked towards them and took his seat, which was in between them.

“Why were you late?” Lexi asked.

Perseus glanced at his wristwatch; he didn’t realize he was late until he found Lexi and Zeppelin at the table. He was twenty minutes late.

"Sorry, I am late.” He apologized, choosing to ignore Lexi’s question.

“Did you run into an old friend?” Zeppelin questioned.

Seeing that both curious eyes were piercing through him, he knew he couldn’t keep quiet about it anymore.
