Chapter 29_Business Idea.

The awkwardness was back as they sat on the dining table. Perseus' jaw dropped in astonishment when he saw the food that was prepared on the table.

The dining table was filled with a lot of dishes, so much so that Perseus wanted to taste the food. He was already full since he ate out with the boys.

“Sherry, I didn't know you could cook.” Perseus muttered. “Why did you burn all of the food in the morning?”

He glanced at Sherry, whose head was hanging low. Noticing that there was something wrong with her, he called her out.

“Sherry?”

“I was the one who cooked.” Eris blurted out. “Sherry can't cook; she can't do anything by herself.”

“And can you?” Sherry snapped at Eris. “You only do everything because of grandpa's help.”

Eris didn't look concerned that Sherry said that. “You can think whatever you want.”

Perseus stared at Eris. “I already helped you with your game. Tell me why you are really here.”

Eris brought a mug to her lips. “I need a job as a maid. Uncle Quinn said you were hirin
