The hall suddenly became noisy because of the sound of alarm rumbling from every corner of that giant room. The enhanced hearing system that almost every HumanBot have causes them to struggle to stay balanced while standing on their feet. They tried to cover their earlobes using their bare hands to reduce the annoying sound from the alarm.
Neo seemed to be struggling a lot. He fell to the ground while lying on the wall, trying to manually reduce his hearing system because he was the most sensitive HumanBot in terms of that system.
“Arghh …”
[Mutant body received damage from unknown object]
Another notification popped out and confused him.
[Warning!]
[The host might collapse]
“What was that for? Arghhh …” Neo complained on something that he could only seen from the notification on his robot’s eye.
“Neo, are you okay?” Tony ran toward Neo and gave him a hand. He held Neo’s arm to push him to stand.

He turned it off, and suddenly, he could not hear anything. Even the voice from Tony’s lips that still moving as if he was talking to him at this moment.
But Neo could hear nothing.

Those non-stop notifications started to annoy Neo, but he still had no clue what that thing was for. Although he could not hear anything because he managed to turn off his hearing system for a while, he tried to look around, and what he saw was a chaotic situation.
Most HumanBot in that room still struggled with the annoying alarm sound. The sound creeps them out like crazy. But then he noticed one thing that he could not resist.
A punch.
Right on his face.
Bam!
Aaron punched Neo’s face until he fell backward and hit the wall hard. It made the system back to normal, and the zink-alarm-sound was back. Neo covered his ears while trying to hold the pain from the sudden punch.
“What have you done, Junkies! Turn them off!” Aaron was mad. And everyone in that room looked mad on Neo. Because of him, that annoying alarm was started. Even though it was just Neo was there in the wrong time. That alarm was not even his fault.
“Moved back or I’m going to cut you down with my blade, Aaron!” once again, it was Tony who was trying to protect Neo.
[Warning!]
[The host might collapse]
“Please, reduce the hearing system to twenty percent,” murmured Neo, he spat his blood from his mouth.
“The hearing system has been set to twenty percent sensitivity.” It was the woman voice that Neo knew. Transformer.
“Transofrmer? You can do that too?” Neo whispered in disbelief. Now, his hearing system was all good. The alarm didn’t bother him anymore.
“I am your assistant.” She replied inside his head.
Neo smiled in relief. Then he grabbed Tony’s arm from behind, “Don’t worry Tony, I am ok.”
He held the wall to stood back. Get the punch on his face was affecting his balance for a second. But the second after, everything was fine.
Out of nowhere, Neo got his confidence and moved forward to face Aaron’s angry mode.
“Thanks for the punch. Because of that, I could learn something important.” Neo patted Aaron’s shoulder, but Aaron pushed him away immediately.

The alarm was still there. Annoying everyone who doesn’t know how to control their hearing system. But Neo was now the chilliest person in that room. Even Tony and Hope were still annoyed by the sound, even though they tried really hard to pretend everything was fine.
[The host is safe now]
That notification again. Now Neo knows to whom he should ask.
“Transformer, what were that mutant body and the host? I don’t understand. It keeps notifying me. Are those notifications from you?” He asked in a whisper.
“(Silence).”
“Transformer, are you still there?”
“Yes, I am. I am always here to help you.” The woman’s voice inside his head was clearly still there.
Neo asked the same question one more time, and he only received another silent treatment from Transformer.
“Transformer, do you need DNA essence?” he changed the question only to test the AI to see if it knew something.
“No.”
“Now you gave me an answer, huh?”
Neo started to understand. He analyzed every limited information he got, and now he could summarize something. The mutant system, the mutant body, and the host, those words that keep notifying him from his robot’s eye were not a part of Corine’s plan. No one knows about that, including the AI system that has already been integrated into his body.
It was like there was another system linked to Neo’s body, but that system could not be detected.
One thing that Neo thought was nearly impossible. Being the HumanBot, he believed everything that made him alive until now was because of the Creators. Because of them, he could live as a teenage boy today. And none of his body worked naturally.
But now, finding something that was not planned by The Creators, it made him suddenly excited. Neo stared at Aaron’s eyes for second before he ignored his presence, then moved forward, approaching Hope with sparkly eyes.
“What do you want?” the girl felt something unusual happened to Neo. Because she believed that she never see that expression on his face right now.
“Hope, do you think that it is possible if we could have another system in our body, but that system was not created by the Creators?” he asked, excited.
Hope didn’t change her expression, She thought that Neo’s question was just a non-sense.
“You meant natural human’s body system? Well, we HumanBot, don’t have such a thing. Everything in our body was made by The Creators.” She explained as if she was the walking encyclopedia of HumanBot.
Hope’s answere made Neo even more excited. After seventeen years of his life, he found something that Hope doesn’t know. He kept it a secret until he understood what that unknown system was for and how it could be linked to his body without being detected by Corine’s error system detection device.
“Now, what? What are we doing here?” Tony jumped to Neo’s side.
But suddenly, hundreds of mini pipes appeared from the wall inside that giant hall. And the second after, black smoke came out from the pipes and turned the hall into a dark black hall.
The alarm sounds have disappeared as if they never existed.
