The skill training is an activity for students to train themselves using weapons like gauntlets, scythes, daggers and the rest that can't be mentioned. It is mandatory for all students notwithstanding gender and failure to not participate will have to undergo some punishment. The school had to take extra measures to see that the students are well prepared for the forthcoming great war against the humanoid aliens.
"Argh! My head feels so heavy!" Max grumbled as he got up from bed.

Am in no mood for your messages this morning," Max yelled as he waved the translucent screen off his face. He had woken up late this morning due to how stressed out he was last night. He should count himself lucky that today wasn't a normal lecture day or else he would have been given a punishment to do for the whole day.He tiredly got down from the bed and walked into the bathroom, he came out 15 minutes later after taking a cool shower. He forgot to take his bath last night when he came back and just slept off, it was a miracle that he slept on the bed and not on the ground.
After wearing his clothes he sat down back on the bed as his mind wandered to last night's events. He was still confused about Harry, why did he choose to hide him from Kelvin and why didn't he expose him. These things greatly confused him that he didn't know what to do.
"Should I go see him and ask him directly? What if Kelvin sees me? I am not strong enough to face him yet," Max said and let out a sigh. Just as he was contemplating what to do, his stomach suddenly grumbled and he remembered that he hadn't eaten since yesterday morning.
He wore his leather jacket, it was a free lecture day and so he could wear anything he wanted to. After making sure he looked good, he smirked at his appearance in the mirror and left the room.
Max was born with great looks. His black hair hard dark-green outlines that matched his brown brows and also his dull brown eyes. With his perfect carved face and thin lips, he looked handsome but the only issue he had was his pale statue. His body had the looks of a fourteen-year-old boy whereas he is sixteen, this is because of how his parents treated him.He got to the school cafeteria and ordered his food, a plate of steak and some sliced carrots. This has been his favourite food since he left home for school. He took his plate of food to a table close to the wall and sat down. He glanced at other students who were in groups, chatting and laughing among themselves and could not help but sigh. He stopped worrying about his loneliness and decided to enjoy his favourite steak but that did not last as trouble came looking for him."Hey, this is my table so get lost!" Max abruptly stopped eating and looked up, he eyed the boy from head to toe then to his wristwatch. '1.3' He thought inwardly and smirked, knowing his current stats in the system, he felt beating the boy would not be that hard and so he continued his meal."I'm talking to you! I said get lost!" The dark-skinned boy with brown eyes said as he glared at Max who was eating his steaks not caring to look at him."And what if I don't? Hit me? Kick me? You are welcome to try!" Max replied and continued eating. "hum, the steak tastes so good!" Max's little actions got the dark-skinned boy upset, he clenched his fist while glaring at him. "I'll count to five, and if you don't get up at the fifth count, I'll have to beat sense into you.""1""2""3""4""5""Dammit!" The boy cursed. Max didn't move an inch even when he counted up to five. The boy angrily clasped his hands together and particles of red lights began to gather around his palms. Max saw this and stood up abruptly, he began to take some steps backwards until he was some distance away from the boy.
The red particles have successfully gathered around the boy's palms and had formed a ball of energy bigger than a soccer ball, his eyes shone with malice and hatred as he stared at Max.
"Fuck me! does he wish me death?" Max asked inaudibly as he stared at the large ball of red energy.

"What?" Max almost yelled out at the sudden quest he received from his system. He stared at the ball of energy in the boy's palm and couldn't help but get angry at himself for being stupid. 'I am not yet strong enough to withstand two of that Flame ball but I'll take it as a sacrifice for being too naive' After thinking to himself, he readied himself and took a stance.
"What makes you think you can withstand this ball of flame? My ability is at its immediate level and you are nowhere capable of withstanding it. Why don't you give up and kowtow to me, I might have a reconsideration." The boy's voice rang out through the cafeteria, by now students had gathered around to witness the show, they would never get tired of watching Max being beaten up like a bag of trash.
"Just shut up and get the business done!" Max yelled back in anger. The students who heard could not help but gasp at his arrogance and wish he could be taught a great lesson that will make him less arrogant in the future.
"If you say so then....." The boy said with a smirk. He stretched out both of his palms and threw the ball of flames toward Max's direction.
Max saw the ball coming with an unseeable speed and shut his eyes close while staying in a ready position. After some time, he didn't feel the ball on him and it made him wonder why he was not being hit by it. He opened his eyes but the ball of flame was nowhere to be seen.
