The mysterious man wore a dark hazel coat and clothing belonging to a mixture of what the merchants and adventurers sported. He had multiple pockets in his jacket. And if I tried squinting my eyes and looking inside, there were scabbards resting in his hips. One swipe of his dagger hidden behind his cloak could end an adventurer's life within a flash if they are not careful. It was a cheap trick. But in this line of work, the information broker must be ready to protect himself, since they were basically selling information for an expensive price… at the cost of their lives.

“Are you the information broker I have paid for?” I asked, and finally turned my face towards him.

The information broker didn’t answer. He instead trundled towards me as if I was some sort of boar and he was a tiger in the woods. Little did this man know that I was a predator myself, and I would not hesitate to protect myself and kill whoever was in front of me or harming my loved ones.
