Chapter 124
The isle was rocky with many impressive, She hopped down and Maks stepped up. He saw her grinning and frowned. "What?"

"Nothing." She said and he plucked seaweed off his head.

The water pushed against the sandy shore where their footprints were. There were no birds in the sky, the ones that passed by hardly lingered unless the load they were carrying were too heavy.

He pulled out their gear and sized up the ropes.

He wore a yellow jacket and refrained from using the torchlight to conserve the battery. He swallowed hard at the peak of the high cliff, a crevice beneath that looked like it could go on forever and ever. He could feel the cool breeze blowing out from the entrance.

He climbed up the hill using his spider powers and he gazed at the plateau and the resilient plants breaking through the surface. He needed to get a bird's eye view of the entire island. It looked like a puma's head with its mouth open, trying to swallow a ball which was the second isle, little to no green
