All through the journey to the location, in the large vehicle where Ethan, Ray, and Erin were in, Erin was unusually quiet. However, no one thought too much about it as Ray and Ethan thought she was just being calm. But on the contrary, Erin was hurt. Inside the large vehicle were too large monitors and other devices connected to the little cameras on Erin’s body. Ray even handed her a tiny earbud. “We are here,” Ray announced as the vehicle came to a halt. Immediately, Ethan looked at Erin, “Are you okay?” He asked. “Yes, I am,” Erin answered. “Did you notice something weird about me?” She was hopeful that he would have at least noticed she needed some attention. “No,” Ethan answered simply. “Ohh…” Erin let out, her eyes darting around awkwardly. She looked at Ray who started to brief her about everything. “Right now, we are parked a bit far away from the location. We can't go too close. When you step out, you will get a car directly to the location. Don't worry, you will be f
The police chief started to lead Erin out of the sitting area. They didn't go to the next floor of the building but they went toward an obscure area on the ground floor. The chief then opened a door which revealed a stairway, just like the one that was in Ethan’s mansion. Another wave of fear gripped Erin as she wondered what lay beneath those stairs. In that mansion, it was a full cell that hosted prisoners. Now, what was she going to see? They got to the end of the stairs when another door opened before them. A guard escorted them into a large room, it was dimly lit. “Boss, the police officer is here.” The police chief said like he wasn't a police officer himself. “I see…” A deep gruff voice resounded through the room. It was an empty room save for a large throne in the middle of the room and a man, completely naked was seated on it. However, Erin frowned seeing the chained people around him. Some were holding and caressing his body and some were pleasuring him. “What… is… go
“Is that Eva?” Ethan dragged the control microphone from Rat, screaming into it. He was quite sure heard Eva’s voice. “Erin! Say something!” Ethan yelled. He was worried. If Eva happened to be there, their plans would be ruined. Also, he was quite worried about her and didn't want any harm to come to her. On the other hand, Erin couldn't reply promptly. She didn't want to blow her cover. She could, “Eva…” “Shit!” Ethan cussed, banging his hands on the makeshift table in the large vehicle. “Boss, what do we do?” Ray asked, ready for action at any moment. “We have nothing else to do. We are going to barge in and get Eva and Erin out.” Ethan instructed and immediately Ray gave out instructions to the men with them through a walkie-talkie. Ethan sighed, wondering how Eva had gotten there. However, he didn't think too much as he took out two pistols from the stash of guns they had. “Everyone assemble!” Ray yelled as soon as they got out of the vehicle. Back in the villa, Erin stood
Bang!Bang!!The gunshot sounds continued and immediately, the boss ducked going behind his throne. Erin knew it was Ethan coming and she immediately rushed toward Eva to shield her. “Boss!!” The chief police rushed in, frantically, slamming the door of the empty room shut with his body jiggling. “We have been invaded! Half of our men have been killed!” “Who dares to invade my territory!” The boss finally rushed out from behind his throne. “I… I don't know! I couldn't see their faces. No one would dare to attack your territory!” The chief continued frantically. His eyes darted around and they landed on Erin who was shielding Eva. “Erin!” The chief yelled and all eyes turned to look at her. “Did you do something?” He pointed an accusing finger at her. “Right…” The boss muttered as he came to a realization. Seeing her shield Eva was a confirmation of the suspicions he had toward her. “You dare to attack my territory?” The boss raged, rushing toward Erin, and grabbed her neck. He
“Are you okay?” Ethan rushed toward Eva and Erin as soon as Killeen disappeared. Ray rushed toward the door he disappeared in and tried to get it open but there was no handle from outside. He rushed toward the throne, pressing the button but the door wasn't opening any longer. It was obvious that Killeen had disabled the door’s system.“We lost him, boss,” Ray informed Ethan who already had Eva in his arms while Erin pressed the bullet wound on her shoulder. Eva was anemic and she was losing too much blood. “Surround the villa and make sure he doesn't get out. Also, call the ambulance to get Eva out of here.” Ethan instructed as he began to walk out of the basement. “Yes, boss.” Suddenly, Ethan halted, a deadly look in his eyes, “Have you released information about Genie and the chief being involved in trafficking?” “Yes. It's going to be released in ten minutes.” Ray answered as he took out his phone to send instructions to the men. “Release information about Killeen too. He sh
The paramedics froze and immediately Eva stood up, holding onto her bandaged shoulder. Her broken knee didn't let her walk well and Erin had to rush forward to hold her. “But you are not fine yet. You have lost a lot of blood.” The paramedics tried to stop her. “It doesn't matter. I will be fine as long as I have stopped bleeding.” Eva shook her head. “I don’t want to go with them. Take me away.” Eva pleaded with Erin. She knew that Killeen could get her anytime soon since he escaped, and the City Hospital was a place he could go into freely, just like the last time she was locked up and monitored in the hospital. Erin pursed her lips as she also had the same thought as Eva. “I will take you home.” She whispered to Eva. “Come, walk slowly, Ethan is waiting for us.” Eva nodded and they started to walk away from the ambulance. The paramedics could do nothing since they said they didn't want any more treatment. Their bill would be wired to them later, anyway. Erin and Eva had walke
Ethan’s car was parked outside of the police station as he watched lines of cars arrive just before it. Chairman Davis got out of one of the cars and immediately marched into the police station. Ethan was quite sure he was there to bail Eva out. It would be easier for the chairman to do that than Ethan doing that. Ethan might risk exposing himself if he intervened. On the other hand, Ethan was quite concerned about Erin and Eva. Ray had informed him that Eva was not transferred to the hospital like they claimed as the cameras and devices on Erin were still intact, and nobody had searched them all through the night. Ethan consoled himself in the fact that he could see that they were alright. He patiently waited for Eva and Erin to appear so he could take measures to care for them. A few minutes later, Chairman Davis’ voice resounded, transmitted from the device on Erin’s body and Ethan could hear it.“Eva, my child.” The Chairman cried, his voice shaky. “You… you are Chairman Dav
The car came to a stop with a loud screech in front of the mansion and Eva stepped out, rushing in while she wiped her tears. Her heart ached a lot and she couldn't believe that the imaginary father in her memory was that man. “Eva!” Ethan got out, and went through the gates after her but she didn't stop. He didn't want to be the one to tell her about her past but she had pestered him in the car and he couldn't help but divulge everything in the car. Chairman Davis came after them but he stopped at the gate by Ray, “I am sorry, chairman but outsiders are not allowed into the mansion.”“What do you mean? My daughter is in there and you are calling me an outsider? Step aside this minute or I will order my men to take you down!” Chairman Davis threatened angrily. “Well, I guess your men will fall before you.” Ray sneered with a wicked look in his eyes. He wasn't scared of the threats at all. The Chairman took a step back, breathing in and out heavily while he checked out the mansion
