“Did you erase everything?” Ethan asked as Mason drove past the police officers and the ambulance.

“Yes, boss. Nothing can lead back to us.” Mason nodded firmly. However, he glanced occasionally at Ethan in the backseat who still held onto Eva.

On the other hand, Ethan was not worried. His other men had all left and now, all he had to do was to go see Ray. He had finally avenged Ray’s death but somehow, he felt like it wasn't enough.

All Ethan wanted to do was torture Killeen before he would finally kill that bastard but Eva had intervened. He looked at her, sleeping peacefully, and wondered just how she was able to get to that gambling den before him.

In his heart, he started to think maybe it was finally time, to let her go so she could stay away from him and not sabotage any other dangerous situations.
