The doctor stood there dumbfounded as she looked at Erin.

“His girlfriend?” She asked with raised brows.

“Yes, are you surprised?” Erin replied and somehow the doctor felt hurt that Ethan had someone else he liked. What was she thinking anyway? That a patient she met in one day would stay faithful to her?

She realized she was getting ahead of herself by thinking about Ethan ever since that day. But on the other hand, she didn't want to back down before her fellow woman.

“Well, Ethan has to tell me that himself and not you. I do not know you, so get out of the way and let me examine him.” The doctor said and even though Erin was infuriated by her words, she had to step aside.
