Robin was remanded in the interrogation room which had dim lighting and two police officers sat before him.

“So, where were you with Mac before he died?” They asked.

“We were on a work trip,” Robin replied. His reply was vague but then that was the truth. However, it only made the officers more suspicious.

“You can't just say you were on a work trip. Where exactly?” They asked.

“I–”

Robin was cut off with a knock on the door and in the next second, the door opened and a police officer in uniform walked in.

“Sir, Angie Hamilton appeared and is demanding to speak to the detective in charge of the case.” The police officer announced.

“Angie? Angie is here?” Robin shot up to his feet with a surprised look on his face.

How did she get there when she was supposed to be hospitalized? That was the thought in his head and he was about to move to go to her without thinking of anything else.

“Mr. Claire, you will have to stay here.” One officer, held him by his shoulder an
