Traitors

Robin raised his brows in surprise as soon as he heard that. Bruce had said his mansion was one of the hardest to break into but now it seemed that wasn’t so.

“So much for bragging, isn’t it?” He asked with a taunting look on his face while Bruce rolled his eyes at him.

“What do we do, Robin? We don’t have time for such chats.” Mac came forward with a serious look on his face. Now, he wasn’t even scared to face danger or unsettling situations with Robin unlike how he used to be before.

“We have to face him head-on,” Robin replied and Bruce nodded but still he didn’t make any move or command his men to do some security protocols. However, there was a look of contemplation on Bruce’s face which got Robin wondering what was wrong.

“Is anything wrong?” Robin asked.

“Yes, the most baffling thing is that Jared didn’t come with anyone else but himself. How is that possible? He knows it’s a death trap to come into my mansion without adequate security.” Bruce said out his concerns with a frow
