Just like any other dragons found in a fantasy setting, the Scarlet Dragon spewed bluish flames from its mouth. The temperature was even hotter than lava, and it was more than enough to kill anything in sight, including the toughest metal known to mankind. Even exposing ourselves near the scorching flames would be enough to kill a normal human being. And that was the problem.

Us adventurers didn’t have any harmful effects from this sudden rise or decrease of temperature thanks to our abilities increasing our strength and tenacity. But an average person, the fire that came out from this dragon would instantly kill them. Will had to prioritise shielding the survivors and protecting his team simultaneously. Hina and I weren’t still allowed to use our spells. And even if we wanted to, Hina was also restricted by some sort of ability that hindered her from using her skills. I could destroy the shackles that bound her hands, but that would alarm the adventurers, leading to a civil war again
