Marko did not sleep soundly the night before, in fact, he had barely gotten any sleep at all, since he stayed up late for most of the night, contemplating his next move.
Even when he did fall asleep, he was so anxious that he would make up soon after, resulting in him getting only a whopping 3 hours of sleep.Marko couldn't help but pace around his house for hours after he signed the new contract. His eyes hurt, and his head was pounding due to a lack of properties sleep, but he couldn't care less.He wasn't sure what his next move should be, although one thing was certain... he had to contact his family whether he liked it or not.He needed to organise a meeting, one that every senior member of the family could join. But who exactly could he call?Aside from himself, the only senior ranking member of the family he could think of was his aunt Mirabel, but she was currently shut out from the rest of the world. But she did"Hello Everyone, we're going to make this meeting short and simple, I don't want to waste anyone's time here, I know you all can't wait to run away from your responsibilities" began Marko. His opening remarks caused the entire sitting room to collectively scoff, as while they were all offended by his words, they understood just how their recent actions, or lack thereof, could be seen as cowardly."The Phillips security company has been sold to Comet, and with it, the Phillips security building" stated Marko."How on earth could you do something like that?... The Phillips security company, and ESPECIALLY the secrets to the Phillips security building was all we had, how could you give it away?" asked Roderick, angrily."I did not give it away, Roderick, I sold it... and you, me, and everyone else in this family will benefit from it""Could you not negotiate for a better deal Marko?, at least one that did not involve us loosing the Phillips
Dean awoke from his slumber, and lazily stepped out of the office chair.Rubbing his eyes slightly, Dean slowly made his way to a water dispenser, where he poured himself a cool glass of water.Dean absolutely hated the late nights he had to spend in the office every few months lately.Ever since Mia became the CEO of Hamilton constructions over a year ago, Dean had basically been running the company the entire time. For the most part, Mia was simply there to sign the documents, documents she usually didn't even bother to read before signing, as she had so much faith in Dean's judgment. And she had a very good reason to trust Dean's judgment, as since taking control of Hamilton constructions, the company had grown more than 10 fold, and had become a five hundred million dollar company. This caused the company to expand massively every couple of months, causing Dean to have to spend the night in the office, signing documents, deals and
Eventually, Dean finally arrived at the Hamilton family house, and once he had parked his car in the garage, he took a few seconds to look at the new and improved Hamilton family mansion.Although the sun hadn't risen yet, and night was still very much in full swing, the lights around the compound made it very easy for him to properly observe the house. The house was more than twice the size it used to be just a year ago, and had expanded by basically buying out the two other compounds located on each side of the family's compound. The renovation of the Hamilton family house into a brand new mansion, took around three months to complete, and cost the family around 50 million dollars to achieve, 50 million dollars that they could only acquire through Dean's management of their company. You would think that after all of this, after Dean had given the Hamiltons so much money, that they would actually show he and Mia some more respect, respect that th
Richard Dawkins's Account :Aaaah Parlsbury, never would have thought in all my life that I would be here, investigating perhaps the biggest act of sabotage the nation of Orzan has ever seen.As I sat in a local Parlsbury coffee shop, all I could think about was how I was not wearing my signature yellow raincoat, cap, sunglasses and gloves.Instead, I had my face exposed for the whole world to see... well sort of.I had on a white polo neck sweater, with a pair of blue jeans and brown Timberland boots.I wore a beanie over my head, although my head no longer had any hair for said beanie to cover up, as I had shaved the entire off to hide my hair colour. However, I decided that it would make more sense if I had some kind of hair on my head, so for the first time ever, I decided to grow some facial hair... although I did dye it red so I could countinue to hide my hair colour. Finally, I had on my signature dark glasses and gloves, a
Richard Dawkins Pov :I took a final sip of my coffee, before setting down the cup on the table.I have been investigating Comet at Parlsbury for several months now, and so far, I can't really say that I have learnt anything significant about Comet, or have even come any closer to finding Comet's relationship with the Phillips family. However, despite not coming any closer to solving the case with the Phillips family, I have made quite a lot of interesting discoveries since I came here.First of all, Comet completely owns this city, from the police department, to the office of the mayor, to the public schools... everything, everything in this city is under the control of Comet. The city is filled to the brim with multiple Comet buildings and facilities everywhere.Since Comet is based in this city, and since it's such an absolutely gargantuan company, the conglomerate is by far the largest source of revenue for the city, as Comet alon
"RICHARD DAWKINS!" yelled Dean from the front of the door."shhhhhh..." was Mia's response from behind the door, as she was still afraid that he would wake the baby.Dean heard this and decided it was best he move away from the door even more, towards the downstairs."What do you mean by Richard Dawkins, Carlos?, I thought he had ended his investigation" said Dean, almost shouting through the phone."Well, he lied Boss... turns out he was playing us this entire time" responded Carlos."Goddamn it!" yelled Dean again, although he silently promised himself that he'd stop yelling, as he didn't want to wake the entire family."Carlos, I just got back home, and I know it's been a while... but I need you to meet me at the Shadow Acre as soon as possible, it's an emergency" demanded Dean."Of course Boss, I am already on my way" said Carlos. With that, Dean cut the call and then proceeded to rush back upstairs into he and M
Richard stared at the ominous warning in front of him.A slight bead of sweat could be seen running down his face.He clenched his fists tightly on the table as he realized, HE HAD BEEN RECKLESS.While he didn't really have much of a choice but to go about information gathering as he did, he couldn't help but feel like there could have been better ways he could have used to get information, one that wouldn't have put his enemies so close to him.Unfortunately though, he couldn't really think of any.Parlsbury was a new city to him, but unlike him it was Comet's backyard... they knew everything there was to know about the city, and had probably been following for weeks since he stepped into the city.Unfortunately for him, he also had no idea who his informant, John actually grabbed this map and blue prints from. But it probably didn't even matter, as Comet probably had hundreds, maybe even thousands of spies working for them
Following the map closely, with the blueprint carefully tucked away in his pocket, Richard was led to a seemingly abandoned set of warehouses at the outskirts of the city. The warehouses most definitely belonged to Comet, as he could see their logo plastered everywhere, but he wasn't exactly sure what Comet was using them for. He found a set of thick bushes in a corner, where he decided to observe his surroundings from, as he didn't want to be ambushed by any unknown assailants. The region seemed void of life, but was littered to the brim with scores of machine parts, but Richard was too far away to tell what machines these were. Quickly becoming unsatisfied with his position behind the bushes, Richard decided, after maintaining his position for over 30 minutes, and still not noticing any sign of life, that he would move around to Investigate the area. Once he did this, he began observing all the broken
