Grief!

Everyone didn't know why, but seeing Gray move through all 5 stages of grief, they felt their initial anger fade away.

First, Gray went through denial, digging up other areas in disbelief.

Soon, he transitioned to anger, acting like a full-grown baby while stomping the grounds, as hard as he could.

Soon he reached a bargaining level, talking to an ant that can't understand him.

Everyone heard him talk to the ant, asking if the crystal was fake. He even tried bargaining to exchange items with the ant.

Then came depression.

Everyone saw him squat down as though it was the end of the world, talking to himself as if he were crazy.

And finally, acceptance. He accepted the matter, but still swore to peel off the skin of the one who stole his crystal.

It was amazing that he went through all 5 stages of grief in no more than a few minutes.
