Buy Them

"Henry, are you watching it now?" Mr Louis' voice brought him back from his thoughts.

"Yeah, Did Bive Airlines just pull their stakes from their company?" Henry asked, surprised at the news he was just reading. He was already planning on buying the company and now, they pulled out their stakes. It made the plan easier.

"Yes, are you planning on buying them? I think you should go for it. Bive Airlines is top-notch in the city, Henry. It would be a good investment and oh boy, a way to get back at your step-siblings."

Henry laughed, "I'm doing that now. Any information on what I asked you about?"

"Yeah, I think your stepmother isn't as innocent as she claimed to be. She was the one who orchestrated the accident that killed your mother. I have witnesses who are ready to stand in court and testify or do you want them to wait?"

Henry's facial expression changed immediately, "I knew it was her all along. Let them wait, I will make her pay in my way. Thanks for calling."

He ended the call and called the CEO of Bive Airlines. He knew Mr Rudy was planning on going into the movie industry, so he was looking for someone to buy the airline company. Jakes had been showing interest according to the news reports but with the video right now, Mr Rudy would not want to have anything to do with Jakes.

"Hello, Mr Rudy. This is Henry Cavil. Yeah, I'm watching the news right now."

"Thank God you are. It's good to have you back, by the way, Henry. How can I help you?"

"I would like to help you. I want to buy your company, everything. Are you ready to sell?" Henry smiled inwardly, knowing the man had no choice.

"Really? I don't think I would love to sell though. You don't have the money I'm looking for," Mr Rudy grunted loudly.

"Check your account I just sent you twice the price you were willing to sell to my stepbrother," Henry replied, playing with the phone cord.

Mr Rudy, swallowed, cutting the call. Henry chuckled, waiting for the man to call back. He had gotten another company just in a few minutes through the power of money.

His phone vibrated and not looking at the caller id, he picked up, "Yes, Mr Rudy, when do I come for the signing over?"

Mr Rudy chirped, "You can come today, Bive Airlines is yours now. It was great doing business with you, Henry. You are better than those shitty brothers of yours."

Henry smiled, " I will be there tomorrow. Spread the news though, I would like to hit some nerves."

"I get you, alright. Tomorrow, we will see," Mr Rudy replied, cutting the call.

Henry applauded himself and settled in the chair. The next plan was to make Jake and his mum beg for his help and he knew it was going to be soon. His phone vibrated again. It was Clinton. Now, what did he want?

"Hello, Clinton, I thought I said you shouldn't call unless it was important. What's it?"

Clinton breathed loudly, "Yes, Henry, you said so. Your ex-wife came here demanding to see you and I told her you weren't in. I know I wasn't supposed to give her your house address but she threatened to scatter everywhere, so I did. She's on her way now."

" What? I will deal with you tomorrow and just know your job is shaky right now," Henry yelled, cutting the call.

Now, why was Evelyne looking for him? Sure, not to beg for her husband, he hoped. He stretched his hands and the banging of the door stopped his yawns.

Evelyne!

He walked down the stairs and not thinking twice, he opened it and stared into the eyes of the woman he once loved ten years ago but now? She was disgusting to look at.

"What do you want?" Henry asked, staring hard at her smiling lips.

"That's no way to treat your ex-wife," Evelyne replied, pushing him aside. "Nice home, it needs a woman though, where's the deaf and dumb boy? Oh, sorry," she caught herself, pretending to be hurt. "I mean Mike, that's his name, right? I heard you guys were involved in an accident yesterday."

Henry stared coldly at her, wondering about her behaviour change. She looked broken when he met her a few days ago at her and Jake's anniversary and now, she sounded bold.

Maybe because of the video?

"You would know about the accident, wouldn't you? Now, I repeat what do you want, Evelyne? I'm giving you five minutes to speak," he said, staring coldly at her.

"Take it easy, Henry. I just want to ask for forgiveness once again. I know you're probably thinking I deserve everything but my parents made me do so and now, Jake is having serious issues with the police and your stepmother is demanding my parents should come forward as the culprit," she said, her voice cracking a little.

Henry laughed, knowing this was all a ploy. It wasn't his business though, her parents never liked him in the first place and she didn't deserve any help from him. He told her that much.

"I'm not helping you or your parents if that's what you came for. Now, leave, I don't care what happens to you or them!"

"Please, Henry," she begged while kneeling. "If my parents don't come out as culprits, they would have to come up with the outrageous money we owe them and my contract marriage will be over. Where do I start?"

Henry chuckled loudly, "I thought your contract marriage was supposed to pay the debt. What a twist. You are the stupid one after all. My stepmother tricked you and you fell for it. You deserve it anyway, same with your parents. Now, leave. "

"I'm begging you, Henry. I will return to you if you help us, I promise you." she replied, still kneeling.
