Jerry sentenced?

The house felt safer since the cops left a few minutes later. She knew there was one watching her car down the street, but that didn't spoil her joyous mood. She couldn't believe that after twelve years, Jerry would be sentenced to jail.

Thank God, Henry came when he did, and now, not only did she have her life put together, she was seeing a therapist, and Henry had given her a job in one of his numerous companies as head of the branch.

A knock on the door stopped her thoughts. Who was that?

"Henry!" she screamed happily, hugging him. "Thanks for stopping by." You left without waiting for me. Why?"

Henry brought out the case, grinning, saying, "I wanted to give you this." It's a thank-you gift for standing up for yourself and finally speaking up. "I know this can never replace what you lost, but it's a push to keep believing in yourself and others, Kimberly."
