"What is this imbecile still doing here!"

"Get him out now!" they all shouted, their faces twisted in disgust as they kept throwing food at him. Elena's heart pounded. Without thinking, she rushed forward and immediately pulled Alexander to his feet, shielding him with her body.

Her voice trembled as she whispered, "Let's go, babe, let's go."

They both hurried out of the hall, their footsteps quick and shaky, making their way to the car. As they reached the safety of the vehicle, Elena’s hands trembled while she fumbled to put it in gear. Tears stung her eyes, but she fought them back, trying to stay composed for Alexander's sake.
