Even though Leo was being arrested by the armies, he was calm and kept running his mouth that nothing will happen and Alexander will be the one to suffer.

"I can see that as lowly as you are, you have some connections, but it's nothing to mine, wait and see", Leo calmly stated, while Alexander stared at him.

They dragged him out, while Alexander immediately rushed towards Elena.

Alexander's eyes locked onto Elena, his heart racing with concern. "Elena, are you okay?" he asked, his voice trembling as he blamed himself. "I'm so sorry... I should have been here to protect you...I failed again"

Elena's face contorted in a mix of fear, relief, her eyes brimming with tears as she stared at Alexander, she believed he had gone and seeing him made him more emotional.

She flung herself into Alexander's arms, embracing and wrapping herself very tightly. Her grip was like a vice, as if she'd never let him go again.
