The next morning, Elena was awoken by the ringing of her phone, she jolted up and found herself on the bed she remembered forgetting sleeping off on the couch. She knew Alexander must have done that.

She picked up his phone and it was from Charles principal.

She wondered why she was calling after she had expelled her son. She reluctantly picked it up.

"HELLO, Mrs. Starius, please forgive me for my behavior yesterday," the Principal voice came through the phone, laced with desperation.

It seemed so awkward and like she was under a threat.

"I was completely out of line, your son didn't deserve to be expell. Please, please accept my sincerest apologies."
