EPISODE 15: A Good Chance

Alex placed his hand on the chest of dead Kido and said.

“System window, automatic harvest: blood essence!” And instantly, five red orbs surfaced out of Kido’s body into his hand. He looked at the crystals and noticed three of them being the small sized blood essence rune orbs about the size of the average grapes and the rest of the two each have a size larger than normal as they were each about three times larger. Each of the crystals has a tinge of blue in its middle, unlike the ones he has harvested so far.

With a wave of his hand, Kido’s body fell off the table. He squat down near it and placed his hand above it, for a moment, a rapid heat blast shot out and hit the body so hot that it became charred instantly.

He stood up and walked to the corner of the cafeteria where Edith and Elise were seated and gave each of them one of his hands, pulling them upwards to their feet.
