Episode 64: Alex is about to loose the system

While they were all walking, everyone suddenly stopped. Every eye is on Elise at this moment. She looked at the bite wound then looked at everybody again starting with the guard who has become her friend.

She looked up and began to think “indeed, this is the end of the road for me. There is nothing that can be done about it. It’s too late already”

Her thought sudden got interrupted by the a chant among the survivors. At first it was the voice of one or two persons, then it suddenly became a chorus among them all.

“kill her! Kill her!! Kill her!” they all began to say concurrently. The guard who trains her looked at the crowd and realized that he has to act before the crowd does something about it.

He raised his hand up and everyone kept quiet to listen to him. He began “we know that she and her brother and her friends are going through a tough time now. We can’t just kill her. Let’s lock her up in one of the cells so that her brother can see her when he comes out”
