Episode 70: on the run

The chase continues down the road for another longer time than anyone expected it to last. The two cars continue to shoot at each other in exchanges. Edith has ran out of bullet in one of the guns and there is now a few bullets left in the other gun.

Joe has done all he could to trick them into the crashing into one of the numerous obstacles on the road but all his efforts have failed. For a moment, the road is now free of all the logs and dead bodies. They are now running on the country side of a straight road that is littered with few dead bodies at some intervals.

Now that the road is free and straight, Joe and others have seen that the truck driven by Ronald is faster. The only thing keeping it behind is the bullets of Edith as she shoots at the windscreen and the tires from time to time.

After driving for another five miles on the road, Edith tried to shoot at the chasing truck but instead of a gun shot sound, what she heard was a click sound. She pulled the trigger over and over
