“I will do what you've asked on one condition.” Michael said, turning to face them.

“Boy, we don't negotiate here, you do what you've been told to do-”

“It's fine, let him give his criterion. I want to hear it.” The old woman said, cutting one of the elders short.

“Thank you. Now that I have your attention, I want the Masters to make an explicit promise that when you eventually win my brother, that I will be head. I will run in his stead.”

“Never! That has never happened and it will never happen.” One of the masters said vehemently.

Others argued in favor of the elder and soon there was pandemonium in the building. They were unsatisfied with his ego but the audacity to ask for something in return after being promised membership into the dold was totally unacceptable and didn't sit well with them at all.
