Chapter Eighty-Six.

James smiled at the audacity of the man sitting before him and raised his hand making his guards relax with their eyes fixed on Declan.

“You are not quite what I had imagined.” James said, watching Declan pour out a glass of wine for himself.

“What were you expecting? A good looking man with four or six men in tow everywhere he goes?” Declan asked, sipping his wine. “Well, I am sorry to disappoint you.”

“You really are one of a kind. The fact that you are not trembling despite knowing who I am is quite impressive.”

Declan snorted at the statement without looking at James

“So you called me to ask some questions. I am here because I wanted to hear them. These little remarks of yours are irrelevant and are actually time wasting.”

Declan said, pouring himself a second glass.
