Chapter One Hundred and Fourteen

At the Livingston's residence, James and his father sat across from each other at the home office.

"Everything is going well as planned father. You don't have to worry."

James said with an assuring smile.

"Ahh.... I'm not worried my child. Not at all. I'm simply overwhelmed. Everything is finally coming to fruition."

Chris said sipping from the glass of wine before him.

"Thank you so much father. I promise not to disappoint you. I will make sure I make up for everything we've lost over the past few months."

Chris looked up at his son with pride and hope in his eyes.

"Cheers."

"Cheers."

They clinked their glasses. The classical music that played in the room intensified, hitting the climax. James and his father shut their eyes at the sweet melody as they celebrated.

Immediately, the power went out and everywhere blacked out.

"What's going on?"

Chris hissed with a low tone.

"I think the power went out"

James ran his hamd along his suit jacket in search of his phone.
