Governor Clark barked and his men marched up to Robinson and bonded him, then hauled him away from the crowd. Everyone stared after him in awe and some with disgust.

“What a scam!”

“To think I nearly fell into this blood sucking scheme of theirs!”

Oh! How I love the fact that they met their match!”

Men and women whispered among themselves at the side. Not long after Robinson was taken away, he was forgotten. All attention turned at Mandy and Declan. It seemed as if the event was all about them from the onset because it was suddenly hijacked and was turned to her welcome back party.

Some of the business women who clustered around Mandy commended.
