Chapter One Hundred and Six.

Tye stared at Declan with terror in his eyes. He could easily tell Declan anything he wanted to know at that moment only that he had no answer—at least not the one Declan would want to hear.

"I swear sir, I don't know who they were"

"But you did a job for them?"

"I—i know it sounds stupid but I never spoke or saw anyone. I just felt their eyes on me and acted out of fear.

Declan narrowed his gaze. "Interesting. So how did they get you to do it."

"I kept receiving spam messages from anonymous. I ignored severally till I received a death threat. They didn't just threaten me but also my mom. I didn't really have a choice. I'm so sorry."

Tye sobbed. He was in grave pain and was losing so much blood.

"I see... So how did you know my passcode and was able to unlock my phone to send the message you did to Clara?"

"I have been watching you for days. I didn't have much time left so I have to plead with the chief to let me escort you guys last night. I'm really sorry. Please don't kill me. I
