Declan emerged from the Lab exactly 2 hours later. Beads of sweat gathered on his forehead and he wiped it off with his elbow.

"Done?"

May asked, standing from where she had almost dozed off.

"Yeah. All set." He said, shaking the blue substance contained I'm a small jar he carried.

He went over to where Clara and Ashley laid and poured out some substance into Plate. He emptied the plate with a syringe.

"Ready?"

May nodded erratically, her heart drumming in her chest. "Born ready."

Declan found Ashley's vein first and injected her with the medicine. He did the same to Clara shortly and stepped back to observe them.

"How long will it take before we see the effect?" May asked, impatiently glancing at her mom and sister.

"For as long as it will take. " Declan pressed his lips together in apology for not giving a definite answer.

"This is just the first dose. We will go 2 to 3 more to see changes." Declan explained.
