Chapter One Hundred

Jordan looked at the phone that Declan pulled out and sneered.

“What is that supposed to do? Scare me?” He asked but Declan gazed at him with no emotion.

“Scares you? Of course not. This is meant to terrify you.” Declan said, dialing some numbers on the phone before raising it to his ear. “Hello Marshall Jones.”

Jayden's face paled when he heard the name slip from Declan's mouth.

“You are bluffing. There is no way that someone of your caliber would know a Marshall when you don't even know who the general standing before you is.”

Jordan said with a smug. Declan ignored him, pressing his head firmer to the ground.

The person at the other side of the phone said something and Declan dropped the call then turned to Jayden.

“You know, trying to come after me especially when you don't know anything about your nephew's death was a really bad move.” Declan said looking at the general who was still shocked as to whether Declan knew who the Marshall he had mentioned was.
