Chapter Thirty.

“Get your face down!”

One of the men ordered and the crowd laid flat, face down. Fear gripped them by the throat. Gunshots released in the air and everyone screamed in terror.

The men raided the party, throwing things upside down. The atmosphere became catastrophic and tense. Guests’ yells and screams filled the air as they sought to take cover.

"What in the world is going on out here?!" Mandy demanded in confusion, stepping out to the commotion.

"The knight of spade is here, my lady.” Mandy’s manager reported in panic .

“The knight of spade? What is he doing here?” Mandy asked, surprised. The knight doesn’t attend corporate events and Mandy didn’t invite him.

“Someone beat up his son and words got to him." Mandy's manager explained.
