“I have been bullied by James and his friends in college, but I thought Abigail was different until the last day of exam.

She invited me to the farewell party only to force me to sweep during the party and when I refused she slapped and humiliated me, but that isn’t enough.

Now she still continues to humiliate me in my own father's house and I will not take it anymore, “ Alex narrow his eyes.

He roams his eyes around the sitting room, making sure his eyes collide with everyone’s eyes.

James and Abigail gave him a deadly glare, but he ignored, “I will prove to you that am actually a member of this family and not just a member, but the only heir of Xavier’s family.

“He means to say the only heir of poverty, not Xavier’s family, “ James scoffed.

He looked at Mr. Xavier who had a smile on his face.

“grandpa, I have something that my mother gave me.

she told me my father gave it to her “Alex said removing his wristwatch

he opened the wristwatch and brought out a small picture from it

“My mother told me this was my father’s childhood picture and if you look at it very well, you will see that it matches with the picture of this boy hanging on the wall, “ Alex pointed at the picture frame of the boy hanging on the wall in the sitting room.

“Let me have it” Mr. Kim walked to Alex

“I’ve stumbled on this picture when Young master Peter was living here,” he said, handing the picture to Mr Xavier.

“This is Peter's childhood picture” Mr. Xavier smiled on seeing the picture.

“Gosh! This is insane “ Abigail walked towards the exit of the sitting room.

“Where are you going?” Mrs. Darius asked

“I am going home”

“No dear go to your room upstairs, it’s late already,” Mrs. Darius said. As they all had their separate rooms in the mansion where they stay anytime they come for a visit.

Abigail and James walked upstairs angrily

“am so sorry for their attitude “ Mrs. Darius walk up to Alex

“yes, we are so sorry we promise to speak to them,” Mr. Darius said

“Please do because I want my grandson to enjoy himself in his grandfather’s house,” Mr. Xavier said.

“Of course “ Mrs. Darius laugh

“welcome home” she pats Alex on the back then walked upstairs with Mr. Darius.

“Kim” Mr. Xavier called

“sir” he answered

“I want you to become Alex's personal guard henceforth, “ he said, standing to his feet.

“Thank you, sir. Thank you for finding me worthy of being his personal guard” Mr. Kim smiled, bowing his head.

“I will send my manager down to attend to him, but before he comes, make Alex feel comfortable, “ he said, walking upstairs.

He was actually pleased when Mr. Kim stood up for Alex and, knowing he was good at his job, he made him Alex's personal guard.

He never had a reason to fear when Kim was out with Peter because he protected him with everything he got, and he knew he would do the same for Alex.

Alex sat close to Mr. Kim when everyone else was gone.

He stayed quiet, locking up his watch.

“Are you okay? “Mr. Kim asked, noticing how quiet he was.

“I want to know how Abigail and James are related to my grandfather,” Alex said, putting on his wristwatch.

If he needed to put Abigail and James in their place, he needed to know their relationship with his grandfather.

“Mrs. Darius ,James and Abigail’s mother,is your father’s cousin and when your father left the family, they move to taking care of your grandfather” Mr. Kim explained.

“Which means am the only close relative of grandpa,” Alex said

“Yes. Which makes you the only heir of Xavier’s family” Mr. Kim nodded.

“Hi, Alex am John your grandfather’s manager” a young man probably in his early forties or late thirties walks towards Alex

“Your grandfather has told me about you, so nice to meet the real Xavier’s heir,” he said stretching forth his hand towards Alex.

“It’s my pleasure sir,” Alex responded, taking his hand.

“Just call me John, young master Alex” he smiled.

“Okay John if it’s fine by you” Alex's face reddened as he always feels butterflies in his stomach anytime someone addresses him as young master

“Okay now, come with me, let me show you to your room,” John said walking towards the stairs.

“I already have a room in this mansion?” Alex asked, almost crying.

“Yes dear, go with him to your room” Mr. Kim smiled.

John and Alex walked upstairs.

“This is your room,” John said, opening a door.

The next door to the one John was opening swing opened and James walk out.

And at the same time the door opposite the one James came out from opened, revealing Abigail.

“John, what is this wretch thing doing close to my brother’s and my room,” Abigail asked rudely.

“This is his room” John replied, still opening the door.

“I can’t believe you want us to get infected by breathing the same air with him” James wrinkled his nose.

“Get him out of here this minute “ Abigail barks

“Am sorry, but Mr. Xavier instructed this room to be for young master Alex, “ John said.

“You Alex, you think you’ve arrived by lying to everyone” Abigail laugh

“don’t worry very soon, I will expose you, and then I will get you kicked out of this house. I will do it myself and humiliate you in the presence of the worker in this house and everyone referring to you as young master.

And I will not only kick you out of this house, but also out of grandpa’s life forever!”.

She slammed the door of her room close.

“You better leave now or get humiliated” James hissed walking into his room and then locked the door.

“don’t worry no one will humiliate you, okay? You are the true blood of this family, “ John said and Alex just nod.

John wasn’t surprised by Abigail and James attitude as they have always been rude, and he hopes they learn a bitter lesson soon.

“Go in, it’s your room” John urges Alex.

“Thank you “ Alex smiled.

“Everything you will need is already in the room but just in case you still need something don’t hesitate to tell Mr. Kim, and he will inform me and I will get it for you as soon as I can,” John said.

Alex nodded, walking inside.

After John was gone, he shut the door from the inside and then placed his back on the door.

He held his chest, which was hammering and threatening to tear apart.

“I will be fine,” he said in a bid to cheer himself up.

“I am the only heir and I won’t let anyone treat me like trash! no, not anymore.

I was bullied when I was poor now that I know I am from the Xavier's and not just from the Xavier's but the only heir, I won’t allow the bully to continue”.
