ASSAULT

Abraham planted a waitress at the restaurant where they were to have dinner. She drugged both her food and drink. Tactfully served her, while leaving Abraham's food unharmed. After the waitress signaled him that it's done, he quickly called her from the point where both of them were sitting shouting and yelling. "What is taking you this long? Don't you know I have guest waiting?" The effect of what she used on her drink will take 2 hours before the symptoms kicks in. Abraham is aware of that and he made sure he was time cautions.

"What took you so long?" Abraham asked the waitress again. "I'm sorry sir don't be offended. It won't happen again." "It better not." he replied.

Lina eat and drank what she was served and after a lot of talking to buy time. The effect of what she drank made her dizzy. Abraham quickly took her to his car and drove off.

"Today I am going to have a taste of you. You thought you are smart. All these years I have been trying to be nice, no never noticed me at all." There is a saying that the beautiful ones are yet to be born. But what will you say about this damsel? Even after given birth she still looks like a girl in her early twenty's. 

Abraham connive with a hotel manager. He brought her in. All through the night he rapped, assaulted and made a fool out of Lina. Immediately he was satisfied, Abraham packed all his belongings and left the hotel leaving Lina there alone.

The next morning Lina woke up and was shocked? Where am I? She asked herself. She stood up, saw her cloth's beside the bed with a towel wrapped around her waist. "Who could have done this to me?" She had a flash back but still can't remember the last place she was before waking up. Lina's Sister called her severally all through the night, no response until her phone went off. Lina quickly freshened up and rushed home. Her sister does not want the kids to be worried or ask questions about the whereabout of their mother. So she dressed them up and took them to school.

Lina arrived home after the kids had been taken to school. "Why all these troubles? I am tired. My husband is missing. I don't even know where he his. All these won't have happened if my sweetheart is with me." She said to herself. She went straight to the leaving room, called her sister to know where they were. "I am with the kids. I took them to school." Her sister told her. Thanks a lot. I don't know what I would have done without you. The sister asked. "What happened that made you not to return home last night? I was worried about you? It's a long story, Lina said. When you return I will tell you everything that happened."

She kept on pacing back and fourth in the living room trying to remember what exactly went down yesterday and who she was with? All she could think about is her husband Justin. She turned on a song by Alan Walker "Faded"

After the song she remembered the last person she was with which is Abraham. She decided not to go to work until the next day. "It is obvious this man assaulted me. I don't have a prove yet but he is going to pay. Whoever did this to me must rout in jail."

Her sister returned home and she told her everything. She replied by saying "we must get to the root of this. Even if this will cost me the last drop of my blood."

The next day she got to work and the first person she saw was Abraham. "Good morning". Abraham greeted. We did not see you at work yesterday. Hope all is well? Lina replied by telling him she's fine. 

Lina later asked him. "What happened to me after you took me to the restaurant? Abraham denied everything. He even told her she left the restaurant after eating telling him she needs to be with her kids. 

Abraham said. "I never objected because I know what you are going through at home, considering you are the only one taking care of the kids."

Lina started digging deep to find out what actually happened to her. "I will definitely get to the bottom of this" she said. The next day she went to the hospital to do some checks. She wanted to be sure if no damage was inflicted on her. The medical report came out and she was fine.

Later that day she immediately went to court with her lawyer to get a warrant. Her intent was to gain access to the surveillance camera at the said hotel where she was assaulted. The court granted her all her request. 

The investigating officer went to the hotel for findings. One of the surveillance showed Abraham carrying her into the hotel. He confessed to everything. That was how he got arrested. "Justice is served from one of the numerous issues on ground." Lina said to her sister. They remained united and stronger as they have been since they were kids. She is her only sibling, a generous and caring one at that. 

"This is just the first phase. Whatever life throw at us, we are ready and we will triumph in the end. Mark my word. Lina said to her sister. In reply her sister said "remember my favorite saying relax everything will be fine."
