The girl in the baseball cap pointed the gun with trembling hands at Kay standing. The girl suddenly twisted her hand when Malvinn was about to slash his sword. She fired several bullets at Henry's lifeless body.
"Bastard! I've almost given up on staying there." She fired two more rounds from the gun in her hand.
The gun was so strong that it made the girl's tiny body shake slightly, and she took a step back. When she had finished firing all the bullets, the girl ducked and dropped Kay's gun.
Kay and Malvinn just stared at the girl expressionlessly. The girl started crying and covered her swollen face with her arms. She ran out of the alley.
Malvinn tried to chase after the girl, but Kay held him back and shook his head.
"We'd better get her sorted, or there's going to be a lot of trouble later on," said Malvinn.
"Tch," Kay chuckled. "You changed your mind so quickly? You stay here. Let me take care of it."
Kay walked in the direction the girl disappeared. He picked up his empty gun and holstered it around his waist. Then run after the girl in the baseball cap.
"Kay!" call Malvin. "I forgot to tell you something important. Better forget about that girl. There are more pressing matters for us."
Before leaving the alley, Kay's steps came to a halt. He turned to where Malvinn was trying to move the bodies into the empty alley.
"What is it? You don't usually talk much. It must be something significant."
Malvinn looked down as he accidentally stepped on the portrait he thought had fallen from his trouser pocket. The picture he took from Inspector Robert's document. Malvinn noticed the slightly shabby and bloody picture.
"Kay, we better hurry to Inspector Robert first before that boy gets into trouble."
"What do you think I'm running so fast for? Of course, to immediately meet Inspector Robert at the usual place. Then, what do you want to tell me beforehand? Is there something urgent?"
Malvinn looked at Kay. "Looks like this brat's business is more urgent. I'll explain later when we're done with Inspector Robert."

In front of a simple supermarket selling daily necessities, a police car was parked there. The Rogue Brothers walked over to the police car.
Inspector Robert emerged from the supermarket with a bottle of mineral water and a pack of cigarettes still sealed.
"How? Are you done partying?"
The greeting of Inspector Robert seemed satisfied to see the appearance of the Rogue Brothers. He walked towards his parked car. Michael was still inside and behind the wheel.
"We've cleared everything except him!" Kay showed Inspector Robert the portrait of the girl in the baseball cap.
The old man's face suddenly turned red. "What do you mean by excluding one person from Henry's team? Didn't I order you to kill them all without a trace?"
"Inspector Robert," Kay hissed. "Have you forgotten the promise you gave us? You have agreed to one condition from us. You let us take anything from Henry's gang."
"Bastard! I thought you guys wanted to take their property. Apparently, you want this boy? What would the other gangsters say if they found out I left one member of Henry's gang? They definitely cannot accept this injustice."
Slash!
Suddenly Malvinn drew his sword and swung it beside Inspector Robert's left shoulder.
Inspector Robert stood stiffly with an ashen face. Now he was shaking violently. He thought Malvinn would slash his body and cut him into pieces with that sword.
Inspector Robert dared not move. A pair of eyes continued to stare at Malvinn's face, filled with anger and lust to kill. In Malvinn's hand, he still held the sword. They both didn't move.
Inspector Robert glanced over the side of his left shoulder and saw Malvinn's sharp sword glint slashing the car's hood into two pieces.
Coming out of the tension, Inspector Robert screamed even more furiously.
"Lundon, what are you doing this time? You really ruined my car!" Inspector Robert's face was red and purple.
"Don't talk too much, Old Man!" shouted Malvinn with murderous eyes.
Inspector Robert fell to his knees on the pavement, shaking.
Kay's turn was approaching and crouching in front of the old man. Kay threw a fist and hit the car door on Inspector Robert's right shoulder until it sank. This time, the old man was really going to faint. He couldn't say anything.
"We do owe you a lot. That's why we accepted your job offer. But, Inspector, you have agreed to our terms," said Kay.
"A-alright. You can take it and do anything to it. I think that boy's "god hand" will be of great use to you guys." Inspector Robert tried to grin, trying to smile to calm his terrified self. "It's a shame that a talented boy like him has to die."

"Why didn't you tell Inspector Robert that the boy was actually a girl?" asked Malvin.
"Don't you think there's something strange here? How could the police database incorrectly identify her as a boy?" Kay smirked.
Malvinn nodded, confirming Kay's words. "Shall we just leave her alone?"
"She's just a kid. As long as she's here, we can easily watch her."
The Rogue Brothers return to the apartment that doubles as their office. Malvinn was cleaning his sword and measuring the sharpness of the blade with one eye. Meanwhile, Kay was busy drying his shoulder-length red hair because he had an appointment with a woman.
The phone rings. Malvinn and Kay glanced at each other. Neither of them rushed to answer the call.
Kay relented. Grumbling, he walked over and sat on the edge of the desk. He picked up the receiver and pinched it between his shoulder and ear.
"The Rogue Brothers are here. Can I help you?"
For a few seconds, Kay said nothing and continued to listen to someone on the phone. Then, he simply hung up the phone and glared at Malvinn.
"What?" Malvinn asked quietly as Kay continued to stare at him coldly.
Kay tossed his wet towel onto the sofa, whose skin was peeling a little with age. "Tell me, Malvinn, is there something you haven't told me yet?"
Malvinn suddenly remembered the last call before they left the house to clean up Henry's gang.
"After you received a call from Inspector Robert to clean up Henry's gang, someone else called the office phone. She offered a job at a very high price. You're gone. So, I thought it wouldn't hurt to take the job."
"What price did she offer?" Kay asked, crossing his arms across his chest and his ass still leaning against the table's edge.
"Five million Coll," Malvinn replied casually.
"Fuck!" Kay smacked his fists into his thighs.
"What is it?"
"Diana, the pawnshop called me. Someone came with a big suitcase and ordered me to put it in my stash. Diana found that a little suspicious. She opened it first to check its contents. You know what she found?"
Malvinn controlled his shoulders because he didn't know what Diana had found.
"That suitcase is full of money! Diana estimated the number at no less than five million Coll! Such a large number!"
"Wow!" said Malvin. "So she actually sent the money? I thought she was just having fun when she said she would pay five million Coll." Malvin smirked. "Because I thought she was just playing around, I had her send it to the pawnshop."
"What?!" Kay shouted. "You don't learn from mistakes? No, anyone would dare pay us that much, not even the Four Pillars."
"What is going on? I thought you would be happy to receive such a large fee. Haven't you been complaining lately that we're short on money, Kay? I can do it for us if you mind."
"Malvinn, do you know what kind of work she wants us to do?"
"Unfortunately, she hasn't mentioned the job yet."
Kay rolled his eyes in disbelief at Malvinn's carelessness. That's why he didn't often let Malvinn take calls.
"But, I have agreed to it. We can't turn down the job, can we? That's enough money to cover our living expenses for the next few months?"
"What the fuck!" Kay pounded the table in annoyance. "Damn!"
Kay was a little annoyed that Malvinn had just accepted the job without discussing it with him first. He had a bad experience with something similar a few months ago. The work culminated in a war between the districts.
Ding-Dong!
They both froze and glanced at each other. The doorbell rang. Someone who might have sent them five million Coll was standing there.
"Or maybe this is all just a trap?"
Kay immediately grabbed his two guns, and Malvinn readied with his sword.
Kay opened the door with his left hand. His right hand held the gun tightly, ready to be fired.Someone was standing at their apartment door. Kay's eyes opened wide, and he frowned in confusion. Malvinn was ready to swing his sword, but Kay motioned for him to stop."Who?" asked Malvinn.Malvinn removed Kay from the doorway and opened the door wide. He was stunned to see a figure standing there."I thought you were out of here," Kay said casually as he reloaded his gun. "Come in! Is there anything you need from us? You can't come here empty-handed. We only accept jobs that pay properly."A petite girl who looked to be in her late teens stood in shabby clothes, and her long hair tucked behind a baseball cap. Her face was still full of bruises. That girl was the same girl the Rogue brothers had met in the underground parking lot."I have paid your down payment of 5 million Coll," said the girl shyly and a little scared."What?" Kay was surprised. "What did you say?"Malvinn, on the othe

Lindy recoiled in fright as she raised her hands. "No, that's not what I meant. I think it's just a misunderstanding."Malvinn looked at her coldly and left the office without another word. Malvinn closed the door tightly.Lindy was still standing on the other side of the door, clutching her pounding chest. "Jeez, he's so scary."The girl had turned and was about to return to her desk, but someone knocked on the door. Lindy froze and turned around quickly. She headed to the door and opened it nervously."Malvinn… did you forget something?" she asked. Then she gaped."It's me, not Malvinn!""Kay? How soon are you back? Why are you knocking on your own door?""To make sure there are no intruders here." Kay immediately pushed Lindy away from the door as he drew his revolver."What is it?""Tell me, who are you exactly?"Click! Kay pulled the trigger."And what is your purpose in coming here?"Kay pointed the gun squarely at Lindy's chin. The girl had to look up in fright."W-what do you
Ring. Ring. Ring. The phone keeps ringing from the third floor of one of the old buildings. A man in a black shirt with sleeves rolled up to his elbows was standing by the window. There was a katana sword in his hand. He ignored the ringing phone on the table and was more interested in the wet street below. "Malvinn, you're ignoring phone calls again?" complained Kay Liavin, who had just emerged from the bathroom. The towel was wrapped around the man's waist, and his shoulder-length red hair was still wet. "What are you watching?" "The new residents in the building next door just beat up a girl in the alley. Now he's travelling in his new Bentley with two bodyguards. Should I finish him off?" asked Malvinn without taking his eyes off the dark, deserted alley below. "Stay there, and don't interfere!" Kay hissed, lifting the receiver to his ear. "The Rogue Brothers here. Can I help you?" said Kay in his flamboyant voice over the line. "Kay Liavin, 27 years old, ex-Scard soldier le
"Hey, Boy!" said Kay. "I've never seen you before here. Are you new to this district? My advice, you'd better hand over the backpack, and we'll let you go free." The baseball-cap figure shifted slightly in place; his hands gripped the backpack straps tightly and slung them over his shoulders. Malvinn, standing behind the baseball cap figure, took a step forward while dragging his sword across the floor. The sound of blades scraping was very piercing to the ears of the baseball-caped man. "Don't get in my way!" shouted the baseball cap figure, ducking deeper to hide his face. His breath sounded rough. "This stuff is mine. I got it first." Kay grinned as he tilted his head to the right. "What did you say? Your voice is as small as a girl's. I can't hear it." Click! Kay pulled the trigger and pointed it at the boy in the baseball cap. "You better put down the backpack and get out of here. As long as I'm still kind to you." Kay was ready to shoot the gun at the young man, but from b
A police car with white headlights shone sharply at Kay, who was driving. In the next second, Malvinn disappeared from behind Kay. No one knew where Malvinn had gone. However, Kay, who couldn't dodge, was forced to stop exactly ten inches in front of the police car blocking him.Kay pulled the brakes really hard in time. Motorcycle tires squeaked and left a black trail on the asphalt. Kay cursed angrily because his trip was blocked."Fuck! Can't you guys just let me go home in peace tonight?" Kay complained as he took off his helmet and got off the motorbike. An old man with grey hair and a coarse beard that had not been shaved for several days got out of the police car. The man's body was skinny; it even looked like walking bones. His face was wrinkled from exhaustion and lack of sleep.A cigarette that was only half-smoked squeezed into the man's mouth. His hands were tied to the gun belt at his waist."Why are you taking so long, Liavin?" reprimanded the police officer while clampi
"Tell me, what conditions do you want? You better hurry. I don't want to be seen here with you guys. What happens if they think I'm a police officer from a neutral side that seems to be siding with one of your factions? This will be bad for the reputation of the police force. If the four pillars of authority intervene, it could become a disaster in a Nameless District."Malvinn had gone and sat on his motorbike. He will while wearing a helmet. It was Kay who was left who approached Inspector Robert and whispered something.Inspector Robert sighed. "Yeah, whatever! Just take whatever you like. Most importantly, this job is done and doesn't cause any more problems." Inspector Robert walked away from Kay, waving his hand. When the gray-haired man was in the police car, he slightly opened the glass window and said to Kay, "Don't forget to leave the victim's identity. So that we can identify them.""Don't worry, Inspector Robert. It's a small thing to do.""Are you sure you don't need thes
Kay kicked the arm of the man who was trying to stab the girl in the baseball cap with a dagger. The dagger bounced, and the man screamed in pain. He was furious and wanted to retaliate. However, the man backed away in fear when he saw Kay Liavin standing there. His other two comrades hid in a dark alley to trip the girl, and the other waited not far away; they all backed away in fear as soon as they realized Kay was coming."Just watch; one day, I will definitely repay you!" shouted the man whose leg Kay kicked. They just ran wild and left their guns on the road."Today, we often pass each other," said Kay casually. "Usually, I just sneak glances through the window in my office."Kay bent down and reached out to the girl sprawled out on the wet street. "Are you okay?"The girl slapped Kay's hand roughly. She chose to stand alone even though with difficulty. "What do you want? You also want to snatch my bounty this time?""Even though we've been neighbors for several months, this is t
