Chapter 129

Nathan remembered that day very clearly and remembered how he had frozen when they related the news to him. He didn’t know how he was able to walk to his apartment or how he got the cab to take him home but he somehow ended up at home and found his little sisters crying with people surrounding them. It had been the hardest day of his life because he couldn’t even cry.

He had to arrange for her body to be taken from where she died and when he saw the state she was in, he had cried his heart out. He knew they killed her but back then, he couldn’t do anything. He had been so scared of what they would do to him and his sisters. Especially his sisters. He could still remember what Trent had told him that day.
