“Where are you? Can you come back?”

Gianni said over the phone and ended the call before he even got to say anything, he gave the city one last look, placed his phone back in his pocket, and walked back towards the wards.

“Where did you run off to?”

Gianni asked when he met her in the hallway that led to Sebastian’s room.

“Nowhere, I just wanted to give you guys some space,”

He replied. He couldn’t look directly at her. He should probably apologize for earlier but he didn’t know how to get the words out.

“I haven’t told him about what Pedro did and that you are the new head, I am just saying, if he asks you about the company, just tell him that it is going fine, If he asks about Pedro, I will be the one to answer,”

She told him. She sounded like she normally does with him. He expected her to be different after the stunt he pulled earlier. Maybe she didn’t want to bring it up or it wasn’t a big deal for her like he was making it out to be.
