“Don’t expect me to take your side just because you tried. You can’t blame my mom. She promised her sister that she would take care of me and she was only keeping that promise. My mom didn’t do anything wrong.”

Nathan said in his mom's defense. She may have made some decisions that might not sit right with him but in his eyes, she could do no wrong. She did her best to raise him on her own. Never once made him feel like he wasn’t her child. Heck, she did so well that he didn’t even for once think about something like that.

“I am sorry that I failed you son. I am sorry that I waited till I was this weak and useless before I found you again. I am sorry for not believing you and for having doubts when the evidence was all in front of me. Please find a place in your heart to forgive this dying old man,”
