MY GRANDFATHER'S LEGACY

FOUR YEARS AGO

Jean and Roland laid under the sheets naked. Roland caressed her hair while Jean laid on his chest.

"How long do you think we can keep this secret from the others?" Jean asked.

"As long as we can… though I don't see a reason why the others can't know" Roland asked.

"Don't say that again. We can't go public. It's gonna tarnish what I have accomplished with the Vatican" Jena said as she sat upright on the bed.

"Tarnish the Vatican's image… or tarnish yours?" Roland asked.

"The Vatican was created by my grandfather making me the Vatican. So yes, anything tarnishing the Vatican's image is tarnishing my image" Jean admitted sadly.

"That's what you don't understand. The Vatican is you. So you can love whatever you want. It is your grandfather's legacy after all. No one can take it away from you" Roland said while sitting up right on the bed also.
